In the wake of DC Comics' Blackest Night event and with Ryan Reynolds' Green Lantern film current in front of the cameras, Green Lantern has never been more popular. Taking advantage of the surge in interest in the character, Cartoon Network has announced a new animated series, Green Lantern, to debut sometime following the June 17, 2011 debut of Reynolds' Green Lantern film.
Expect more information on the animated Green Lantern series in the weeks and months to come.
